Cancellation Policy

We ask all guest to please respect our cancellation policy.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving us enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and our clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you may have booked weeks ago.

Appointment Reminders

A courtesy reminder will be sent 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. No fees will be charged at this time—it’s simply a reminder.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled time will be charged 50% of the service total.

  • Same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the service total.

No Shows

Clients who do not show up for their appointment without any notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service and will not be rebooked.

Tardiness

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to adjust or reschedule your appointment, depending on stylist availability. Late arrivals may still be charged in full for the service booked.

Emergency Cancellations

We understand that life happens. In cases of emergencies or unexpected circumstances, please reach out directly. Considerations may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Illness Policy

If you are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. If illness-related cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a dated doctor’s note or proof of illness may be requested to waive the fee.

Credit Card on File

A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointments. Your card will not be charged unless a cancellation or no-show fee applies. (We do not have access to your card details.)

Independent Stylists

Our stylists at Urban District operate independently. Their policies, pricing, and availability may vary slightly. Please contact your stylist directly if you have questions regarding their specific booking terms.
